There is a lot of talk about technology and how “software is eating the world”. However, no one tells us how they are sold.

I’m Samuel Amsallem, Sales at Holberton School. A San Francisco startup that creates software and educational content to learn computer programming.

I decided to start this project when I realized that none of my business school courses were helping me sell. Not a single content existed for prospecting, qualification, customer relationship or customer service.

With this in mind, I created Sales Chat, a series of interviews with sales professionals, to share their best techniques with as many people as possible and to put the spotlight on the people at the heart of their companies, to revive the sales profession.

This series is also the digital support of my thesis on the software sales market in Europe. When my thesis is finished, I will publish thematic content on what I have learned and analyzed.

I don’t have a precise rhythm of publication, but I will try to stick to one interview per week.

Let’s start right away with the first interview of Karim, a Swiss Account Manager in data with +10 years of experience in the field.
